Sam Wise

Sam Wise writes speculative fiction about the places where humanity and technology blur.

Based in Canterbury, he works as a creative director by day and a novelist in the hours before dawn. His writing is shaped by a love of character-first storytelling, a fascination with systems that try to control us, and a stubborn belief that flawed people can still choose to do the right thing.

CTRL:REC is his debut novel — a dark, satirical tech dystopia about exploitation, autonomy, and the cost of truth — and is accompanied by his connected novella, The Man in the Space Between.

He lives with his wife, their two children, and a cat who refuses to obey narrative structure.
